Depth : since there is enough water in the bottle, shallow bottle is ok
materials : yellow stains appeared on the side of the paper cup, it smelled like damp laundry -> bacteria are growing
Before sprout ~ twin leaves appear
seeding season : from March to October (since it is too cold in February, komatsuna didn’t sprout)
water : you can use tap water (leave the tap water in direct sunlight for a few hours, it will remove the chlorine)
Once true leaves appeared
the level of the water : root needs both fresh air and water, you shouldn’t sink its root into the water entirely (plants grow bright white root hairs to increase the surface area of the root and absorb oxygen more effectively)
* if you give too much water, white mold is growing on the surface on the vermiculite
hyponex EC (mS/cm) : 0.4-1.0 (once true leaves appeared) , 1.2-1.8 (before harvest)
* Giving too much hyponex rots root!

根だけ伸びて葉や茎が成長せず、双葉が黄色くなってしまった
水温上昇によりコマツナの生育適温（15~25度）を超えてしまうと、根がストレスを感じて根腐れしてしまう。空気にさらしている部分の根が茶色く干からびる

液肥を交換せずに1週間放置し、肥料濃度が濃くなったのが原因

発泡スチロール箱
微粉HYPONEXを入れて1週間経つと容器の底に茶色い粉が溜まる
これは
・ ケイ酸：植物の茎や葉を病気に強くさせる成分
・ カルシウム（石灰）：根の発育を促す成分
であり、最初は白いが酸化して茶色くなる
植物が根から酸を出すことでゆっくり粉を溶かして吸っていくため、このまま残しておいて問題ない
水の入れ替え（発泡スチロール箱）
肥料を入れて1週間後、茶色い粉が溜まった状態でECが0.8の場合、水に藻が発生していなければ水を取り替える必要はない
ただし、植物が好きな成分（カリウムなど）ばかりを吸収し、吸いきれない成分が沈殿するので、ＥＣ値が正常でもいずれ栄養不足になる
すると葉の色がなんとなく薄くなるので、1カ月～1.5カ月に1回、水をすべて捨てて入れ替えること
Pests
アザミウマ（1mm程度の細長い虫、黒かったり黄色かったりする）
葉の表面を食べてかすり状の白い点を残す
人間には無害なので葉っぱをたべて問題ない
ハモグリバエ
幼虫が葉の内側を食べて進むことで、葉の表面にうねうねした白い線ができる
Diseases
白錆病（うどんこ病）
葉っぱの表面に白い点ができ、触ると白い粉が舞う
（※アザミウマの白い点は触っても粉が出ない）
湿度が高い梅雨などに発生しやすい

root rots : 6割程度しか成長せずに根が茶色くても、葉そのものに異常がなければ食べて問題ない。若い小松菜は葉が柔らかいので、シャキッとしていなくてもOK
